Ordinance No. 2026-53 AN ORDINANCE OF THE UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE, KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS ACCEPTING A PLAT OF DEDICATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE RECONSTRUCTION OF BEECHER ROAD WHEREAS, the United City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois (the "City"), is a duly organized and validly existing non -home rule municipality created in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970 and the laws of the State; and WHEREAS, due to development of properties located in the area adjacent to Beecher Road, it is necessary to reconstruct Beecher Road in order to support the anticipated increase in traffic; and, WHEREAS, Robert M. Loftus and Ildefonsa Loftus, Co -Trustees of the Robert M and lldefonsa Living Trust pursuant to Declaration of Trust dated January 7, 2006, have executed a Plat of Dedication prepared by Engineering Enterprises, Inc., dated January 30, 2026, attached hereto and made a part hereof providing for the dedication of real estate required for the reconstruction of Beecher Road; and, WHEREAS, the City is prepared to accept the Plat of Dedication and to pay the fair market value for the real estate dedicated to the City pursuant thereto. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and City Council of the United City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois as follows: Section 1. All of the foregoing preambles hereinabove set forth are incorporated herein as if restated. Ordinance No. 2026-53 Page 2 Section 2. That the Plat of Dedication for the reconstruction of Beecher Road in the form attached hereto and made a part hereof is hereby accepted and the Mayor is authorized to execute. Sections 3. That payment in the amount of $39,750.00 to the Co -Trustees of the Robert M and Ildefonsa Living Trust is hereby authorized. Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
