The meeting was called to order at 7:10 PM by Anne Lucietto. She welcomed the guests and
thanked them for attending the consortium meeting.
The group shared meeting topics as they registered, writing them on easels. When the meeting
started, Anne and the group added additional topics. Below is a list of the topics discussed for
future meetings of plan consortium members.
Water supplies
Wind energy (non-residential)
Historic districts
Road (transportation) lists from county and IDOT
Farmland protection
Downtown development/reinvestment
Solar opportunities (residential) benefits and regulation needs
Electrical grid, placed in the communities
Metro West – Val Burd

The members then voted on the topics. Each member received 6 votes. Ms. Lucietto and
Annette Williams tabulated the votes. Below are the top 5 vote getters and all other voting
numbers received.

The foreclosure meeting will be hosted by Yorkville. Wind energy meeting will be hosted by
Minooka. Kendall County will host the road / transportation list meeting and Plattville will be

the host for the water meeting. The 5 meeting will be hosted by Oswego and the topic will
be downtown development. The consortium meetings will not necessarily be held throughout
the year in this order.
There were three announcements of upcoming events; 1) Oswego’s ECO committee will be
st
having a speaker on Monday, February 1 at 7 pm. He is from the IDNR and will share the
importance of the Fox River; 2) on Feb. 6, the Regional Plan Commission will have their
meeting at 9 AM at 111 W Fox Street in Yorkville; 3) the Yorkville Green Committee will
have their second Green Fair on Saturday, March 6 from 11 AM -4 PM in the Parks & Rec
Building on Rt. 47. Volunteers are needed.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 pm.
