A RESOLUTION REGARDING ACCESS TO THE
CITY CLERK'S SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX
Whereas, the City Clerk of the United City of Yorkville ("city")bears the
responsibility for holding the bonds and letters of credit for the city; and,
Whereas, the city's bonds and letters of credit are held in a safety deposit box off
the municipal premises; and,
Whereas, it is necessary for both the City Clerk and the Deputy Clerk to access
the city's safety deposit box holding the city's bonds and letters of credit; and,
Whereas, whenever a new City Clerk and/or a new Deputy Clerk are elected or
appointed, it shall become necessary to remove the name of the previous City Clerk
and/or Deputy Clerk from the persons authorized to access the city's safety deposit box
holding the bonds and letters of credit and the new City Clerk and/or new Deputy Clerk
shall be added to the persons authorized to access the city's safety deposit box holding
the bonds and letters of credit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the United
City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1. That the City Clerk and Deputy Clerk are hereby authorized to enter
the city's safety deposit box number 210002049 at Old Second Bank and that the City
Administrator is hereby directed to notify Old Second Bank to implement any changes to
the persons designated to enter aforementioned safety deposit box.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and
approval as provided by law.
