Resolution 2010-23 Resolution No. 2010 - a RESOLUTION REVISING THE STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the United City of Yorkville has adopted the Standard Specifications for Improvements as Resolution 2004 -39; and, WHEREAS, said Standard Specifications for Improvements are incorporated into the Yorkville Subdivision Control Ordinance and referenced in Section 7.03.01 of said ordinance; and, WHEREAS, from time to time certain sections of said Standard Specifications for Improvements have been identified as needing revision or clarification, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the United City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois: Section 1. The requirement for a Street Cleaning Deposit is hereby revised to establish a variable deposit and replenishment trigger based on the gross acreage of the development, as follows: Development Gross Acreaae Initial deposit Replenishment Triaaer Less than 5 acres $1000 $500 5 -10 acres $2500 $1000 Greater than 10 acres $5000 $1000 Section 2. A minimum separation of 5 feet is required between fire hydrants and streetlights, parkway trees, or driveway aprons. A minimum separation of 10 feet is required between a fire hydrant and underground or above - ground utility structures. Section 3. Stormwater system requirements are hereby clarified to state that, with the exception of stormwater storage volume calculation methodology, developments greater than 10 acres in size must adhere to the same general stormwater design requirements listed for developments less than 10 acres in size. I i Section 4. Drive approach requirements are hereby clarified to state that the design requirements apply to the entire driveway.
