Ordinance 2008-127 Ordinance No. 2008 - V A7 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE, KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the United City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, as follows: Section 1. Title 5, Chapter 2, Section 5, of the United City of Yorkville Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by deleting it in its entirety and replacing it with: 5 -•2 -5: RUNNING AT LARGE It shall be unlawful to permit any dog to run at large with or without a tag fastened to its collar, within the corporate limits of the city, unless the dog is on property owned by the dog's owner. Any dog found upon any public street, sidewalk, alley or any unenclosed place shall be deemed running at large unless the dog is firmly held on a leash or is in an enclosed vehicle.
